Vision

The Office of Assessment and Institutional Research will foster a culture of informed decision-making and improvement and will contribute to the scholarship and advancement of assessment and institutional research.

Mission

The Office of Assessment and Institutional Research (OAIR) provides accurate, timely, and actionable information that is accessible to Tulane decision makers; facilitates assessment activities of academic and administrative departments to advance student learning and program effectiveness; leads Tulane's accreditation efforts; and satisfies data and information requests from internal and external stakeholders.

By advancing assessment and improvement initiatives, OAIR supports the University in achieving its mission to enrich the capacity of individuals, organizations, and communities to think, to learn, and to act and lead with integrity and wisdom.
