The Office of Assessment and Institutional Research (OAIR) provides accurate, timely, and actionable information that is accessible to Tulane decision makers; facilitates assessment activities of academic and administrative departments to advance student learning and program effectiveness; leads Tulane's accreditation efforts; and satisfies data and information requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Inform
OAIR provides academic and administrative leaders with meaningful and timely analysis to inform decision making and address institutional priorities.

Assess
OAIR supports campus-wide assessment activities for continuous improvement of academic programs and administrative processes. This includes the development and execution of student learning and institutional effectiveness assessment plans and improvement initiatives.

Report
OAIR provides data and information to meet reporting requirements of federal agencies and accrediting bodies, and in response to external stakeholders and surveys. To do so, OAIR partners across the university to advance the integrity of institutional data, establish appropriate protocols for data collection, and ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
