Once the data has been collected, the results will need to be compiled.
Data that directly assesses a student’s knowledge or performance in relation to a Student Learning Outcome (Direct Measures) will typically come from the instructor of record or a committee who has evaluated the work.
For indirect measures like survey outcomes or grades (those measures that indirectly look at student knowledge or performance in relation to a Student Learning Outcome), results may come from the instructor of record, a committee, alumni, students, or outside evaluators.
All of the results from Direct and Indirect assessments must be collected and compiled before they can be fully analyzed and utilized.
