CIP Codes Matter

Program directors, have you reviewed your program's Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) code lately?

CIP codes identify the academic discipline of programs and must be used for reporting to the federal government and other external agencies. Because they have wide impact, such as determining applicability of regulations tied to federal financial aid, STEM classification, and various college search tools for prospective students, ensuring CIP code accuracy is crucial.
