Academic Program Assessment Plans are Critical

Academic Program Assessment Plans are a critical component of Tulane's commitment to continuous improvement and student success. All certificate and degree programs are required to maintain a current and comprehensive assessment plan to ensure student learning outcomes are clearly defined, systematically assessed, and used to inform meaningful program improvements.

Department chairs/program directors are encouraged to submit plans by June 1 for priority review, allowing time for feedback and refinement before the final August 15 deadline.

Timely submission is especially important as we prepare for upcoming SACSCOC accreditation reviews which require assessment plan submissions from all certificate and degree programs for the 2024-25 thru 2026-27 academic years.
